Taylor Williams hadn't been in this town that long, but she just had to get out of that house that she would, from now on, call home. She sighed walking into the food court, wearing her favorite blue jeans with the rip at the knee, and a cute tank black top. After ordering her food, she went and sat down at an empty table.
This young girl, only sixteen, had a lot on her mind. Especially things about her family that she would never want anyone else to know about. Only her boyfriend back in her hometown knows. Taylor was always afraid that everyone would judge her if they knew the truth. Taking a bite of her hamburger, she looking around at all the people in the food court. They all looked so...happy.

Taking a drink of her soda, she looked up at a girl who seemed to be slightly older. Taylor nodded at her question. "Sure, sit." She smiled softly. Taylor, she had two different sides. There was her sweet side, a side that would do no wrong...that would treat others with respect. She showed that side to anyone who was sweet with her. But then there was this darker side to her, a side that just wanted to get out, have some fun, who would smoke, drink, do whatever it took to be cool like the people around her.
What do you expect from a girl, whom her entire life, lived in a broken home. Who never truly felt love. Her mother is way out of the picture, but had been an alcoholic. Her dad, on the other hand, is a doctor who is not ever around, not to mention a drug addict also. "My name's Taylor. I'm new to California."
