Taylor Williams was new at West Coast Academy, just moved here from New York City, New York. It's not like it was so bad living in California now, she just missed her boyfriend back home. Her dad thought that maybe if they moved, things would get better for her. Or maybe that was just an excuse to get her away from that boyfriend of hers. In truth, she hated her dad, hated him for making her move, for ruining her teen years.
Taylor sighed as she walked down the street, wanting to get far away from her father, from their new home. It's not like she had anywhere to go, though. She was the new kid. She didn't have any friends here. At least not yet. Walking past the local park, Taylor put on her headphones, listening to one of her favorite songs on her ipod, 'Teardrops on My Guitar' by Taylor Swift.
Heading away from the street, she walked over and sat down on an empty swing. The sun was setting and fewer and fewer cars drove by. She sighed silently, feeling sorry for herself, as someone (who seemed to be around her own age) sat nearby.

Aiden let a sigh escape his lips as he walked around Castle Park, He had finaly escaped from his girl friend Audrina. Ever since she had gotten back from her parents house she had been attached at the hip to him, And he didn't like that quite much. He had also finaly met his brother, he was nice, bit to nice for his liking but hey they were blood what else could he do.
Pulling a cigrate pack out of his pocket he extracted one and light it. He took a few puffs and then stuffed the box back into his pocket. He walked over too a neer by bench and sat down. ''Ugh'' he wispered as he ran his hand through his hair.

Looking up, Taylor noticed that someone else was there. She sighed, as she took off her headphones and walked slowly over to him. "Hey." she replied, quietly. She wasn't one to speak real loud, like a lot of the girls she had known. "Mind if I sit here?" Not waiting for him to answer, Taylor sat down next to him and waited for him to say something.
She stuck her ipod back into her pocket, before looking back up at him.

He sighed as he saw a girl walking over to the bench he was sitting on."Sure. Want one?" he asked as he took out the pack again to offer "Im Aiden" he said taking a puff of smoke and blowing into the chilly night air.
'Leaving Sammie and Audrina alone together was a crappy decision', he thought but he just needed to get away from both of them. 'What if Sammie spills? She did look pretty smashed when you left.'He groaned as he thought of what would happen if she told Audrina.
"So whats your name?" he asked as he stretched his legs out on the ground his tight black jeans stretching to cover his ankles.

"Sure." she replied, as she took a cigarette out of the pack and lit it up. She took several puffs before sighing silently. Thinking about how bad things were at home. Her dad asked to transfer hospitals, so yeah, he's still a doctor...a doctor who's a drug addict as well. Always has been. It'll be like before, with her father never being there. Did she really care, though? Not a chance!
Looking back up at the boy she just met, she took another two puffs. "My name's Taylor. It's good to meet you. I'm kind of new here, so I don't know many people yet."

"Cool, ive been here for a few months." He said "Its already turned into hell" he joked laughing. "Where you from?" He asked smiling at her as he took another puff. 'She cute, but some one my brother would go for.' he though as he smiled at her.
"I love your hair" he remarked touching her long brownish hair. "Its so pretty." he said frowning as he thought of Audrina's hair.

"I'm from New York City." She smiled. New York was her favorite place, and she missed not living there. "I loved New York. It's a wonderful place to live." She smiled at what he said about her hair. "Thanks. I curl my hair almost everyday. Some days, though, I like to keep it straight."
